Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 3 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen considered private sector critical for economic growth and poverty reduction, for the sector creates employment opportunities and pay taxes to the government.

The premier spoke in the graduation ceremony of nearly 4,000 students of Vanda Institute, held on Monday (Oct 3) at OCIC, Phnom Penh’s Chroy Chongvar district.

"Our private sector is expanding, which requires human resources for development. We have considered the private sector a significant source for economic growth. The more private sectors grow, the more taxes are paid. We will use tax revenues to invest in infrastructures like roads and canals; build schools, hospitals, and increase civil servants’ salaries,” the premier underscored.
