Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 11 – President of Cambodian Union of Youth Federations Hun Many expressed his views on the decision of the French Court on Sam Rainsy’s public defamation case.

“The French court’s decision that premier Hun Sen is not a mastermind behind the death of former police chief Hok Lundy has granted the premier justice and cleanliness,” Hun Many wrote on his Facebook page on Tuesday (Oct 11).

“The opposition leaders and activists have continuously damaged the honor of head of the Royal Government of Cambodia through baseless accusations, yet those actions always fail as "real gold fears no fire". The French court's decision is a testimony that Samdech is a real gold who is not afraid of fire,” Many added.

Many continued, “the oppositions’ ill-intended attempts certainly do not change the historical reality of Cambodia, especially for the role and heroic of the premier who went through 105 battle fields and successfully liberated the country from the dark chapter of Khmer Rouge regime and is a hero for seeking Peace and National Reconciliation under the 1998 Win-Win policy.”

“Prime Minister has worked hard to protect the kingdom’s territorial integrity from the aggression of neighboring countries from 2008 to 2011, achieving economic growth of around 7 percent in the last 20 years and in particular, the effective COVID19 control through the implementation of the wise approach combined with effective policies, especially social protection policies that provide benefits to the poor,” Many wrote.
