Siem Reap (FN), Oct. 21 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen confirmed that the Royal Government will not bankrupt by helping the citizens living in Run Ta Ek natural village through ID-poor program.

The premier spoke during a meeting with residents who voluntarily relocated from the Angkor area to Run Ta Ek Natural village, held on Friday (Oct 21) in Siem Reap province.   

Samdech said the Royal Government is also preparing infrastructure systems that ease the living of people in the development area of ​​Run Ta Ek, including connecting electricity to households for free of charge.

According to the premier, the construction of power grid in Run Ta Ek development area will cost a total of about USD 6 million.
