Siem Reap (FN), Oct. 21 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen reiterated that the next-generation leaders must continue to implement the promises and policies that Samdech has given to the residents living in the Run Ta Ek and the Peak Sneng villages.

The premier spoke at a meeting with residents who voluntarily relocated from the Angkor area to Run Ta Ek Natural village, held on Friday (Oct 21) in Siem Reap province.

“The promises of the previous government must be fulfilled by the next government, whether in my term or others. If you do not continue to do so, you will encounter protests of the compatriots living in the Run Ta Ek and the Peak Sneng areas,” the premier underlined.

Premier Hun Sen also instructed to expedite the issuances of land titles to people living in the two areas. He also expected that the people will continue to keep the land as a family heirloom.
