Siem Reap (FN), Oct. 22 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said the Royal Government has spent approximately USD32 million to support over 33,722 pregnant workers since January 2018.

The premier spoke at a meeting with residents who volunteered to relocate from the Angkor area to Peak Sneng commune, held on Saturday (Oct 22) in Siem Reap province.

Citizens expressed gratitude to the government for the cash handouts to pregnant women and newborns, which they said helped deal with health issues and prevent deaths.
