Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 9 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen and Chinese prime minister Li Keqiang presided over the signing ceremony of 18 bilateral cooperative documents, held on Wednesday afternoon (Nov 9) at the Peace Palace.
The 18 documents such as:
1. Preferential Buyer Credit Loan Agreement on the Kratie Bridge over Mekong River and its Connecting Road of Cambodia project.
2. Preferential Buyer Credit Loan Agreement on the Upgrading of National Road No.7 Project (Skun-Kampong Cham)
3. Handover Certificate for China-aided Project of Intermodal Transport Master Plan in Cambodia.
4. Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation on Agricultural Trade between the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Commerce of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
5. Certificate of Delivery and Receipt of the China-Aid Rural Road Project-Phase II.
6. Handover Certificate for China-aided Project of Traditional Chinese Medical Expert Group against COVID19 to Cambodia.
7. Handover Certificate for the Project of Provision of Materials to Support Cambodia’s ASEAN Chairmanship.
8. Certificate of Delivery and Receipt of the China-Aid Project of Improving School Environment and Educational Facilities.
9. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Kingdom of Cambodia on Joint Development of the Chinese Language Education Programme in Secondary Schools in Cambodia.
10. Agreement on Scientific and Technological Cooperation between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
11. Memorandum of Understanding on Strengthening Cooperation in Veterinary Drugs, Veterinary Biologics, and Feed Additives between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
12. Agreement of Donation of Animal Vaccines by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People’s Republic of China to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of the Kingdom of Cambodia
13. Protocol on Inspection and Quarantine Requirements for the Export of Pepper from Cambodia to China between the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of the Kingdom of Cambodia
14. The Protocol on Inspection, Quarantine and Veterinary Sanitary Requirements for Wild Aquatic Products to be Exported from The Kingdom of Cambodia to The People’s Republic of China between The General Administration of Customs of The People's Republic of China and The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of The Kingdom of Cambodia.
15. Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on Preventing the Theft, Clandestine Excavation and Illicit Import and Export of Cultural Property.
16. Agreement on the Establishment of “China-Cambodia Traditional Chinese Medicine Centre” between National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the People’s Republic of China And Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
17. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Environment of the Kingdom of Cambodia for the Second Batch of Project for Provision of Goods in the Low Carbon Demonstration Zone under South-south Cooperation for Addressing Climate Change.
18. Certificate of Delivery and Receipt of the China-Aid Livelihood Improvement Supporting Engineering Works for the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway Project.
In addition, there are three symbolic inauguration ceremonies such as:
1. The symbolic inauguration ceremony the Phnom Penh-Sihanouk Ville Expressway.
2. Project area on Carbon Emissions in Sihanoukville.
3. Confucius Institute at the Cambodia University of Technology and Science.
