Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 12 – Japanese prime minister Fumio Kishida pledged to work closely with ASEAN leaders to maintain regional peace and prosperity.

The Japanese premier spoke in the 25th ASEAN-Japan Summit, held on Saturday (Nov 12) at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel.

Kishida pledged to work closely with ASEAN leaders to discuss in-depth ways to maintain peace and prosperity in the region.

Fumio Kishida contined that in order to maintain and strengthen the free and open international order, Japan has supported ASEAN unity and centrality. Japan also supported the ASEAN Outlooks on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP).
