Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 15 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen sent a special voice message on Tuesday night to inform compatriots his health condition after being diagnosed with COVID19.

The premier said his condition is normal, adding that he will continue to work from home.

The premier expressed concerns over health of other leaders attending ASEAN summits in Cambodia and continue the meeting in Indonesia.

Samdech Hun Sen claimed that many leaders had close contacts with him, including US president Joe Biden.

"My biggest concern is the health of the leaders that attended meeting in Cambodia,” the premier underlined.

“Certainly no one wants to see me absent from the G20 summit in Indonesia and the APEC summit in Thailand," the premier said.

“I would like to dismiss any analysis that leads to misunderstandings. The G20 president, Indonesia, really wants the presence of me as the chair of ASEAN, and Thailand, which is hosting the APEC meeting, also wants me to be present," the premier continued.

Prime minister Hun Sen expressed his gratitude to the king and queen mother for wishing him a speedy recovery and a better health. He also thanked the citizens for expressing their concerns.
