Beijing (FN), Nov. 16 – Seng Chanmolika, deputy chief of Fresh News English, has successfully completed the course requirements from the School of Journalism and Communication in the People's Republic of China. 

The graduation ceremony was held in early November at Renmin University, one of the top journalism universities in Beijing.

Chanmolika is invited to participate in the six-month China Asia Pacific Press Center 2022 Vocational Training Program organized by the China International Press Communication Center.

Through lectures on China Development Studies and Media Exchange, Molika received intensive training on a number of key topics, including poverty alleviation, China's medias, technology development, ecological civilization, cooperation between China and other countries, and the country’s contribution to social protection and tackling challenges the world is facing.

"As the world is confronted with accelerated changes, this study reflects the reality of China and China's rapid development, especially the path to poverty eradication, a major achievement in China's more than a century history,” said Molika.

During her studies, she gained a broad understanding of China, including the effects of the giant economy, comprehensive cooperation between China and friendly countries, as well as the power of technology, which has had a profound effect on building a peaceful and harmonious community with a shared dream in this era of globalization.

In addition to learning about China, Molika also received training in communication and the use of cutting-edge technology to serve the field of journalism and other communications, which is beneficial for her in her current and future work.

Chanmolika expressed gratitude to CEO of Fresh News Lim Chea Vutha for granting her this rare opportunity and realizing her sets of goals. She pledged to share her knowledge and skills from professional training in Beijing with her colleagues and help build Fresh News to another level.

Molika has been with Fresh News for almost five-year, including part-time experience. She plays an important role in the international department. Her mission is to disseminate factual information with proper sources on a timely manner to fight against fake news in the digital era and spread Cambodia’s prestige in the international stage.
