Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 30 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen expressed his deepest gratitude to Cambodian ancestors for their efforts to leave legacies for the next generation, adding that he vowed to inscribe more heritages in the World Heritage List.

The premier spoke at the closing ceremony of the 3rd National Games and the 1st Cambodian Paralympic Games 2022, held on Wednesday evening (Nov 30) at the Morodok Techo National Stadium.

Regarding the successful inscription of Khmer martial art, "Kun Lbokator" to the UNESCO List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the premier said first, we must thank our ancestors who left legacies for the next generations.

Second, we shall thank Lbokator athletes who have been working hard to safeguard this martial art since the liberation from Pol Pot regime in 1979.

Third, the premier thanked the Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) for their tireless efforts.
