Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 1 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that in terms of investment, the kingdom catches the fish who come first whether it is big or small.

The premier spoke during the 11th anniversary of Minebea establishment in the kingdom, held on Thursday morning (Dec 1).

“Trust is important in investment sector. The company trusts the government and vice versa. The workers trust the company and the government and vice versa,” the premier underscored.

Samdech recalled that, "11 years ago, Minebea's rival companies requested the government to revoke monopoly license on certain products from Minebea, claiming that Minebea is a small company. However, I explained to those companies that the kingdom catches the fish who come first whether it is big or small. The kingdom did not wait for the big fish. Second, if the kingdom violated the agreement with Minebea, other companies would face the same treatments in the future. The rival companies were shock and accepted my explanation,” the premier recalled.
