Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 7 – Cambodian foreign minister Prak Sokhonn hailed the achievements registered during ambassador Park Heung-kyeong’s tenure, especially the Cambodia-Republic of Korea (ROK) Free Trade Agreement that has entered into force on 1 December this year, underlining his strong expectation it will further enhance the current healthy bilateral economic cooperation, particularly on trade and investment.

He also praised the contribution made by the envoy in strengthening the relations and cooperation between both nations. This appreciation was made during a farewell call paid by the later on Wednesday (Dec 7).

"Prak Sokhonn and Park Heung-kyeong recalled the exchange of high-level visits in this year, among them the visits of Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen in February and Cambodian president of the Senate Say Chhum in April, the visit of president Yoon Suk Yeol to attend the ASEAN-Related Summits last November in Phnom Penh as well as the official visit of himself in September last year, during which he co-chaired the Mekong-ROK Foreign Ministers Meeting," according to outcomes seen by Fresh News on Wednesday (Dec 7).
