Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 11 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen wrote on his Facebook on Wednesday that he has never decided to legally hand over the house and land where Candlelight Party supreme advisor Kong Korm currently resides.

According to the premier's Facebook, Kong Korm’s clarification letter is an undeniable evidence that Kong Korm acknowledged. Any preparation of title deeds is a forgery of state's properties.

"I did agree to allow Kong Korm to reside on the property of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but I have never decided to hand over the house and land to Kong Korm as private property, and the house and land are still owned by the ministry,” the premier underlined.

Samdech continued that "legally, this house and land still belong to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and it is time for the ministry to take back this house and land in order to serve the ministry's work.”

The premier’s statement came after Kong Korm sent a letter to Fresh News earlier today requesting clarification regarding the case of his house on Sothearos Street, Sangkat Tonle Bassac, Khan Chamkarmon following Fresh News's interview with deputy prime minister Hor Namhong.
