Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 27 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen urged to educate people on the value of sanitation and the environment, speaking during a celebration of the 11th National Clean City Day on Monday afternoon (Feb. 27).

The premier added that it is not just only for a tourist attraction purpose but the welfare of the people.

“Everyone has to get involved, from ordinary people to high-ranking officials, and not just the urban people, but also the rural people,” said the premier.

At the same time, Samdech underlined that living hygienically not only makes the country beautiful, but also contributes to good health of citizens.

Samdech continued, Cambodia has done a lot of work on the campaign for the hygiene of the people. The use of plastic has been greatly reduced as well.
