Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 28 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen encouraged Cambodian and Singaporean armies to continue to strengthen cooperation by sharing work experience, information and promoting the development of human resources.

Singaporean chief of army general David Neo paid a courtesy call on the premier on Tuesday morning (Feb 28) at the Peace Palace.

Neo expressed his pleasure for the good relations and cooperation between Cambodia and Singapore, especially between the armies of both countries.

The army chief also briefed Samdech his visit to Cambodia. On February 27, he met with Cambodian army commander lieutenant general Hun Manet. At the meeting, the two countries' army chiefs have pledged closer cooperation.

On that occasion, Samdech praised the cooperation between the two countries' armies and encouraged both sides to share work experience, information; and promote human resource development.
