Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 1 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen reminded foreign country to avoid making a third mistake on Cambodia.

The premier spoke during a graduation of nearly 5,000 students of the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC), held on Wednesday morning (Mar 1) at Koh Pich, Phnom Penh.

"I advise or ask you [some democratic countries] not to make a third mistake on Cambodia. This is what Hun Sen said to some leaders who paid a courtesy call on me. Some foreigners have admitted the mistake. They have never apologized or regretted the mistakes they committed," the premier underscored.

Samdech pointed out the first mistake of them was supporting the coup d'etat to overthrow Cambodia's late king father Norodom Sihanouk in 1970. This coup led to Pol Pot regime that killed millions of innocent civilians and destroyed Cambodia to zero. The second mistake was supporting the Khmer Rouge at the United Nations for more than 12 years (1979-1991).
