Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 22 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that we should not pray for any nation's economy to collapse, for it will negatively affect our economy too.

The premier spoke at a graduation of nearly 5,000 students of Vanda Institute, held on Wednesday (Mar 22) at Diamond Island.

On that occasion, Samdech Techo stated that in the regional and global framework, Cambodia did not go to prevent the growth of neighboring countries or other countries. In the contrary, Cambodia cooperates with all countries to continue socio-economic development to grow altogether.

Samdech continued that it is a misunderstanding to think that Cambodia's economy will grow faster when the economy of Viet Nam and Thailand shrinks.

"If Viet Nam is weak, it means that the influence of inflation in Viet Nam will affect Cambodia’s economy," the premier said.
