Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 10 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that in 2023, Cambodia's economic growth is projected to achieve around 6.6 percent amidst the uncertain challenges.

The premier spoke during his meeting with the Cambodian Oknha Association (COA) members on Saturday evening (Jun 10) at The Premier Centre Sen Sok.

“In 2023, Cambodia's economic growth is projected to achieve around 6.6 percent amidst uncertain issues and challenges such as the Russia-Ukraine war, the Taiwan Strait issue, the rise of inflation, monetary policy in developed countries, and the slowdown of the economy in China and the European Union,” the premier underscored.

In addition, Samdech said that Cambodia’s economic growth is inseparable contributions from tycoons. Samdech thanked and praised tycoons for their assistance and hoped this positive spirit will continue.
