Kampong Chhang (FN), Jun. 9 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen further urged factory workers and employers to avoid conflicts in workplace, speaking on Tuesday morning (June 13) during his meeting with some 20,000 workers in Phnom Penh.

The premier also urged them to participate in the safe village-commune policy in order to promote sustainable employment and income growth.

"What I ask for the workers and the factory owners is a peaceful work community. Do not use drugs and form gangsters nor get into fights. These are parts of the safe village-commune policy," the premier underscored.

In addition, Samdech warned that a factory should not be a place to use or distribute drugs and to form gangsters.

Samdech also advised workers to work hard and instructed the employers to pay high attention to the workers' livelihood to maintain harmony, sustainable employment, and income growth in the workplace.
