Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 13 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen allowed former Buddhist monk San Sochea to pay him a courtesy call on Tuesday (June 13) at the premier’s residence in Takhmao city, Kandal province.

The premier spoke on Tuesday (June 13) during his meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in Phnom Penh.

The courtesy call was made when Sochea returned from Australia after retiring from monkhood.

San Sochea retired from the monkhood on 21 May 2023 in Australia after 31 years of his devotion to Buddhist. He was born in 1976 in Tram Kak district, Takeo province.
