Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 20 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen approved the request of Cambodian minister of national defense Tea Banh to study the construction of monuments representing the history of national salvation and military in the provinces.

The premier spoke during a celebration of the 46th anniversary of Marching Toward National Salvation, held on Tuesday morning (Jun 20) at the Ministry of National Defense.

"First of all, I would like to respond to minister Tea Banh’s five proposals. Generally, I approved, but for the third proposal regarding the proposed law on military history, I suggest studying with legal experts first," the premier underscored.

Issuing sub-decree on the organization of military historical sites is possible, and the recommendation for building the historical park of the Win-win Monument in provinces is also possible, Samdech added.
