Kampong Speu (FN), Jun. 27 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that the opposition group's critics against his meeting with San Sochea reflected that opposition are increasingly isolated.

The premier spoke on Tuesday morning (Jun 27) during his meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in Kampong Speu.

"San Sochea met Hun Sen. They [opposition group] attacked San Sochea. Now, San Sochea attacked back. This has shown that the opposition becomes increasingly isolated," the premier underscored.

"Whoever tends to ally with this extremist group will not be tolerated by Hun Sen. If they commit crimes, they must face legal actions," the premier added.

On 13 June 2023, Samdech allowed former Buddhist monk San Sochea to pay him a courtesy call at his residence in Takhmao City, Kandal province to discuss ways to promote the cultivations of good thoughts and actions among Cambodian people.
