Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 21 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen sent a congratulation letter to Chinese premier Li Qiang on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of Cambodia-China diplomatic relations.

“On behalf of the Roval Government and the people of Cambodia, I have the great pleasure to extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Your Excellency and, through you, to the friendly Chinese people on this auspicious occasion of the 65th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the People's Republic of China,” according to a letter seen by Fresh News on Friday (Jul. 21).

“Our diplomatic relations were established in 1958, yet our traditional ties could be traced back centuries ago. Throughout this long journey, the subsequent generations leaders of the two countries have consistently nurtured and cherished our bilateral ties, which today enable us to enjoy the excellent bond of friendship and productive cooperation in many domains.”
