Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 22 – Former Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that the new Royal Government will continue to adhere to the five principles to ensure national development and improve citizens' livelihood, speaking on Tuesday morning (Aug. 22).

The five principles of "mirroring, bathing, scrubbing, treatment and surgery" is a matter of principle for the civil servants and leaders in ministries and institutions at all levels in performing their functions and duties.

"I think that the new government will continue to adhere to these principles because they are indispensable for our governance and development,” Samdech underlined.

Meanwhile, Samdech urged all officials of the ruling party to continue to implement these principles. He added that if we abandon them, we will not be able to identify our weaknesses, which can lead to a governance failure.
