Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 22 – Former Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that from tonight onwards, he can go to bed before 12 a.m., speaking at a press conference on Tuesday morning (Aug. 22).

“The tasks of the legislature or the party are not as overwhelmed as those I did in the past [...] I have never slept before 12 a.m., but from now on, I can,” Samdech underlined.

Samdech added that for his future political life, he will continue to be the president of the ruling party and will become the president of the Senate in March 2024.

On that occasion, Samdech added that he will put his works and events happened in his mandates in writing.

Samdech Techo added, "no one knows me and my work better than I do, so I have a duty to write down those legacies for the younger generation to learn from.”
