Kandal (FN), Sep. 1 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet affirmed that concern for the citizens' well-being and serving the citizens remain the top priority for the Royal Government of the new mandate led by the Cambodian People's Party (CPP).

The premier spoke on Friday morning (Sep. 1) during a meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in Takhmau city, Kandal province.

"The meeting with the citizens and the workers is the most essential thing we must do. Additionally, serving the citizens is what we have to do and requires attention from all national and sub-national administrations. Particularly, for more than 40 years, the CPP has always prioritized serving the citizens. Hence, the new mandate government does not abandon the traditional norm; serving the citizens remains our top priority," Manet underscored.

Taking this occasion, Manet thanked citizens for voting for the CPP in the general election 2023.
