Takeo (FN), Sep. 19 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet said that during the 43rd ASEAN Summit in Indonesia, the South Korean president pledged to increase quota for Cambodian migrant workers because Cambodian workers are hardworking and have good morals.

The premier spoke on Tuesday morning (Sep. 19) during a meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in Bati district, Takeo province.

"This year, the South Korean president pledged to increase the quota for Cambodian workers. He praised our Cambodian workers for their spirit of hard work and good morals," the premier underscored.

Taking this occasion, Samdech Thipadei added that When foreigners hear about Cambodia, they only think about war, but when our citizens go abroad for work or study, they have contributed to promoting our civilization and traditions to foreigners.
