Phnom Penh (FN), Sep. 28 – After holding the bilateral talks, Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet and Thai prime minister Srettha Thavisin attended the handover ceremony of the Transit and Reception Center for Victims of Trafficking and Other Vulnerable Groups on Thursday (Sep. 28) at the Peace Palace.

The Center was built in Poipet on 15 August 2022 with the assistance from the Thai government worth more than USD 2.3 million.

The Transit and Reception Center for Victims of Trafficking and Other Vulnerable Groups is Cambodia's first trafficking victims reception center that will provide all-inclusive services, including mental and psychological rehabilitation of the victims, and provision for vocational training and skills development programs.
