Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 3 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet stated that the Royal Government will present intervention measures to tackle economic problems in Cambodia in the upcoming Government-Private Sector Forum in November 2023.

The premier spoke on Tuesday (Oct. 3) during a meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in Phnom Penh.

"In the meeting with the private sector in November, everyone will know what benefits the government has to offer in this difficult situation to the private sector so that they can survive and create jobs for everyone,” Samdech Thipadei underscored.

The Government-Private Sector Forum is held once a year by the Royal Government as a dialogue mechanism led by the prime minister of Cambodia with the participation of ministers from all ministries, institutions, governors of all capitals and provinces, private sector representatives in all fields, ambassadors to Cambodia and representatives of some international institutions.

This forum provides an opportunity for the private sector to raise challenges and suggestions to the Royal Government to review and take appropriate action to resolve, and all decisions in this forum are considered by the Council of Ministers.
