Beijing (FN), Oct. 16 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet announces his support and welcome to the joint venture investment in the energy sector between Royal Group of Neak Oknha Kith Meng and China National Energy Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. (CNEE) of China. He also encouraged Chinese companies to continue investing in other areas of expertise.

The premier spoke during a meeting with Kang Hubiao, chairman of the Board of Directors of Genertec International on Monday afternoon (Oct. 16) in Beijing.

During the meeting, Kang Hubiao thanked Samdech Thipadei for taking the time to allow him to pay a courtesy call and inform about the history of Genertec International, which was established in 1998 and invested in three major business sectors including manufacturing, health investment and overseas investment, with plans to invest in hydropower in Cambodia in collaboration with the Royal Group.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet welcomed the meeting with the management of Genertec International and expressed his welcome and support for the partnership between the Royal Group of Cambodia and the CNEE of China in joint ventures in the energy sector.
