Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 17 – The spokesman of the Royal Government Pen Bona, on Tuesday (Oct. 17), denied false allegations made by overseas opposition group saying two other Cambodian students died in Israel.

“More than 450 Cambodian students who are studying and doing internships in Israel are all safe,” Pen Bona underlined.

Bona continued, “the Royal Government led by Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet always pays attention to the well-being of all Cambodian students in Israel, considering their safety as a top priority."

“The Royal Government's working group, which includes the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Agriculture and other competent institutions, regularly liaises with students and farm owners where they live, and the Israeli authorities to ensure the safety of Cambodian students, as well as offers immediate intervention when needed,” Bona added.

Recently, premier Hun Manet announced that 452 Cambodian students in Israel remained unharmed and they are highly protected by the relevant authorities and Israeli forces.
