Kampong Speu (FN), Nov. 10 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet shared five recommendations for the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces to ensure effective protection of the nation and the people’s well-being.

The premier presided over the celebration of the 28th anniversary of the establishment of the Special Forces Command, held on Friday (Nov. 10) in Kampong Speu province.

The five recommendations are as follows:

Firstly, the armed forces shall be highly professional, loyal to the nation and the people, and wholeheartedly adhere to regulations, guidelines, and legal norms, adhere to the traditions and dignity of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, and become a formidable and unwavering force dedicated to the protection of the nation and its people.

Secondly, all units shall remain vigilant to the use of armed forces, and ensure that the stable and effective use of the unit resources. The use of armed forces shall align with specific demands and skills and shall properly and sustainably manage weapons, military equipment, and food reserves.

Thirdly, all units must strengthen the training and building of human resources quantitatively and qualitatively to serve the nation effectively, especially all units must enhance the skills development of the armed forces.

Fourthly, all units shall remain vigilant to prepare all means and mechanisms to help rescue people in accidents, with a proactive spirit and close cooperation with local authorities and relevant stakeholders.

Lastly, all units shall promote the local economy, such as farming and animal husbandry, to improve the living standards of the armed forces and families to ensure comfort, well-being, and productivity in their missions.
