Kampong Speu (FN), Nov. 10 – Cambodian Prime Minister instructed all military units to prepare their facilities and personnel for potential disaster response efforts, emphasizing the need for quick rescue operations and ensuring that civilians receive immediate aid as necessary.

The premier presided over the celebration of the 28th anniversary of the establishment of the Special Forces Command, held on Friday (Nov. 10) in Kampong Speu province.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet underscored that "all units should pay attention to preparation of forces and means to rescue people in the event of an accident, with a proactive spirit and close cooperation with the local authorities and relevant ministries and institutions.”

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei also instructed all units to promote on-site economic development, including crop cultivation and animal breeding to contribute to improving the living standards for soldiers and their families to ensure comfort, well-being and productivity in fulfilling the mission.
