Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 15 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said the development of the Koh Norea zone was a distribution of benefits to the people, not just to Oknha Pung Kheav Se, or a certain group of people.

The premier spoke on Wednesday afternoon (Nov. 15) during an inauguration of Koh Norea Bridge in Phnom Penh.

The premier emphasised the transformation of this place (Koh Norea) into an industrial economic zone that consists of markets, workplaces, and entertainment venues for citizens. “The most meaningful development is the development that benefits the entire citizens, not just for the OCIC, or Oknha Pung Kheav Se," the premier added.

Norea City is a satellite city developed by OCIC, with a budget of more than $2.5 billion. Norea City is located within the heart of the Capital city, Phnom Penh, developed on 125 hectares of land. Our goal for the investment and development is to create a center for international and national commercial hub including luxury residential area. The most iconic landmark of the city is the 555-meter skyscraper facing the Mekong River and Bassac River.
