Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 22 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet instructed the Ministry of Commerce to continue research and registration of geographical indications, certification marks, and collective marks, speaking on Friday (Dec. 22) at the closing of annual meeting of the Ministry of Commerce.

"The Ministry of Commerce to continue research and registration of more geographical indications, certification marks, and collective marks in order to elevate the quality and brand of Cambodian products in both local and international markets, with a strategic focus on reducing imports from abroad," the premier underscored.

At the same time, the Ministry of Commerce shall continue to widely disseminate market-related information and conditions to all stakeholders to avoid oversupply.
