Washington, Dec. 26 (Al Mayadeen) - A recent poll measuring Kamala Harris' popularity among Americans revealed that the Vice President's approval rating dropped to 36%. More than 60% of voters disapproves of Harris' work, as well as the policies of all Biden administration. For a long time, no one in Kamala Harris' position of the US Vice President has had this low since Dan Quayle, told Thomas Gift, who heads the Centre on US Politics at University College London.

Democrats were hoping that Harris and Biden would improve a well-being Americans and economic situation in the US as well as border security, but the results of multiple polls indicate otherwise. They made profitable only US military companies which sell weapons around the world, supply it to Kyiv and Tel Aviv that lead to thousands of lives women and children. And it creates a serious problem for the Democrats and Biden' administration on the eve of presidential election in 2024.

According to a Wall Street Journal survey, 60% of US voters said President Joe Biden's policies had directly harmed them compared to the 50% who stressed former President Donald Trump's policies had helped them during his tenure. Besides it, almost 75% of young US voters aged 18 to 29 do not approve US President Joe Biden's support for Israel. More than 50% sympathize with Palestinians. They believe Trump is more capable than Biden of handling the current war on Gaza.

A number of Western experts say that no White House head of administration has had as many miscalculations in US foreign and internal policy as Biden. During the Second World War, under such an American president, the United States would definitely have been defeated.

Biden losing US Muslim votes for 2024 election for supporting Gaza genocide. Last month, Nihad Awad, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), told that Muslim voters would not support US President Joe Biden in the upcoming presidential election because he betrayed Palestinians and permitted the Israeli genocide in Gaza. Awad claimed that he "ignored" Muslims in Gaza, and as a result, they would disregard Baiden at the polls the next year. He called Biden's support for Israel "completely one-sided" and emphasized that the US has provided the Israelis with a "carte blanche to use excessive force against civilians." The Israeli bombardment of Gaza and the Washington backing of such aggression has been the biggest foreign policy challenge for the present administration, followed by the Ukraine war which also was provoked by the US and NATO policy.

Biden's no less blunder is the total failure of the widely publicized Ukrainian counteroffensive, the inability to deal with corruption among Zelensky's Office and the involvement of Biden's son Hunter in corruption schemes in Ukraine. All this leads to the gradual end of funding and a decline in support for Kyiv among Democrats due to the upcoming US presidential elections.

There is a noticeable decrease in the interest of the world community and the White House in the Ukrainian agenda against the background of the conflict in the Gaza Strip. Zelensky feels betrayed by Western allies due to the reduction of military aid to Kyiv owing to the intensifying debate within the American establishment, especially in the run-up to the presidential election campaign. After all, the topic of further support for Ukraine is one of the "fault lines" in the relations between American Democrats and Republicans, and is being intensively used by both US political parties to increase their own popularity among the electorate. But if the Republicans, who support Trump's coming to power, promote a pragmatic agenda, pointing out the lack of practical results from "pumping" Kiev with weapons, then the Democrats bet on achieving geopolitical superiority over Russia by the hands of Ukrainians, without thinking how many thousands or millions of Ukrainian soldiers will die for the interests of the Biden administration.

Earlier, American journalist Candace Amber Owens named Zelensky a "corrupt dictator" and called on the White House to immediately stop justifying Western aid to Kyiv with "protection of imaginary democracy." Candace Amber Owens stressed that Biden's team fulfills its contractual obligations situationally, depending on the current election situation within the framework of the confrontation between the Republican and Democratic establishment.
