Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 29 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said that the celebration of the anniversary of the end of the civil war in Cambodia and the successful implementation of the win-win policy is an invaluable historical event.

The premier spoke on Friday (Dec. 29) during a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the end of Cambodian civil war, held at Win-win Memorial monument, Phnom Penh.

On that occasion, Samdech Thipadei highly commended all the armed forces who strongly supported the win-win policy of Samdech Techo Hun Sen.

"Today, I am pleased to preside over the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the end of the civil war in Cambodia and the successful implementation of the win-win policy of Samech Techo Hun Sen, former Prime Minister and also the founder of peace. This historic event commemorates the end of Cambodia's civil war and the attainment of complete peace throughout our country for more than 500 years,” the premier underlined.

Samdech Thipadei continued, “I would like to take this opportunity to join with fellow citizens nationwide in commemorating this significant ceremony at the historic construction site—a symbol of peace, territorial unity, and harmony for the Cambodian people. This monumental achievement, a testament to the visionary win-win policy of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, stands as an invaluable historical legacy for generations to come."

The 25th anniversary of the end of the civil war coincides with the 5th anniversary of the building of the Win-win Memorial monument, a historic building to commemorate the heroism and values of the win-win policy initiated by Samdech Techo Hun Sen.
