Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 29 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said that the construction of the Win-win Memorial monument serves as the preservation of invaluable historical evidence for the next generation.

The premier spoke on Friday morning (Dec. 29) during a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the end of Cambodian civil war, held at Win-win Memorial monument, Phnom Penh.

"The achievements of the Win-win Memorial monument provide a detailed account of historical events and the development of Cambodia's peace-seeking process for future generations. The monument clearly illustrates the symbolic meaning of the Win-win policy and the complete historical journey, serving as an identity expression of the national soul and a symbol of unity, development, and practical lessons for Cambodian history,” the premier underscored.

Samdech Thipadei highlighted the strategic location and efforts put in the construction site of the monument, adding that its realization was made possible through unwavering commitment.

"Without high commitment, it would have been impossible. I am a witness to Samdech Pichey Sena Tea Banh’s dedication in building this monument,” the premier continued.

Expressing gratitude, Samdech Thipadei thanked Samdech Pichey Sena Tea Banh for his tireless efforts in successfully completing the monument as scheduled. The premier also extended appreciation to General Nem Sovath and all stakeholders for their dedicated efforts in paying attention to the historical aspects, creating meaningful connections at various locations within the monument to fully understand Cambodia's history.
