Sihanoukville (FN), Jan. 31 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said that the reduction of logistics costs and the revitalization of the construction sector in Sihanoukville will play a significant role in propelling Cambodia's economic growth, benefitting various sectors, and addressing challenges in other provinces.

The premier spoke on Wednesday (Jan. 31) during the launch of the "Special Program to Promote Investment in Sihanoukville 2024" in Sihanoukville province.

Samdech Thipadei highlighted that Sihanoukville serves as a crucial economic hub, playing a pivotal role in supporting other provinces. Therefore, by enhancing logistics in this province and reducing transportation costs, Cambodia's economy will receive a substantial boost, further aiding the nationwide agriculture sector.

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei pointed out that the recovery of the construction sector in Sihanoukville will also contribute to supporting economic activities in other provinces.

"We have limited resources, and we must target our efforts wisely.
