Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 21 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet supported the establishment of the 'Techo Sen Disabled Sports Fund', speaking on Thursday (Mar. 21) during the inaugurations of Techo Sen National Centre of Disabled Persons and the National Paralympic Committee of Cambodia in Phnom Penh.

In this regard, Samdech Thipadei announced a distribution of 200 million Riels in the first year to support the Centre, and a commitment to continue the distribution for the next three years to support the Techo Sen Disabled Sports Fund in its efforts to enhance the Techo Sen National Centre of Disabled Persons.

“In addition, I would like to express my gratitude and call on His Excellency, Neak Oknha, ladies and gentlemen, donors, partners, and our partner from South Korea, Mr. Kim, to continue to support this centre,” the premier underscored.

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei continued that for job effectiveness, the Techo Sen National Centre of Disabled Persons and the National Paralympic Committee of Cambodia (NPCC) need a budget to support the development of sports for PWDs, particularly in preparation for hosting the 6th Asian Youth Para Games.
