Siem Reap (FN), Apr. 20 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet stated that by 2030, the Siem Reap Provincial Hospital will transform into a major regional hospital equipped with modern facilities.

The premier spoke on Saturday (Apr. 20) during an inauguration of the surgical service centre of Siem Reap Provincial Hospital.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet underlined that while modern equipment is available, the absence of skilled medical professionals impedes the delivery of quality healthcare services. The Royal Government has therefore set a goal to not only equip all hospitals with modern medical facilities but also to enhance doctors' capacities to effectively utilise advanced equipment and collaborate with specialist doctors.
