Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 26 – Cambodian Senate President, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said that during disasters, especially the COVID19 crisis, affluent people in Cambodia donated nearly USD 200 million to the government to address the crisis.

Samdech Techo spoke on Friday (Apr. 26) during his gala dinner with Cambodian Oknha Association at Garden City Hotel Phnom Penh.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen highlighted the remarkable spirit of generosity among Cambodia's affluent, particularly Oknha and Neak Oknha. He expressed his joy in witnessing their reverence towards the King, as they donate funds for the King to conduct various humanitarian activities.
