Stung Treng (FN), July 25 - The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology confirmed that the flood from the collapse of an under-construction Se-Pian Se Nam Noi dam in Attapeu provincei in south-east Laos gradually affected some areas in Cambodia's Stung Treng province.

At the same time, the Se Kong River also rose to a height of 11.30 meters (the warning level 11.50 meters high), according to the Ministry of Water Resources.

Provincial authorities issued a notice requesting the residents of Stung Treng province to take extra precaution and to stand ready to report to local authorities for evacuations.

Local authorities have appealed to government bodies and other communities to provide emergency aid such as clothing, food, drinking water and medicine.
