Stung Treng (FN), July 27 - Stung Treng authorities on Friday evacuated families to a safe ground and will relocate 15 polling stations in Stung Treng affected by the flood from the collapse of an under-construction Se-Pian Se Nam Noi dam in Attapeu provincei in south-east Laos.

According to the provincial authority, if the water continues to rise, the electoral process will be challenging.

Stung Treng's Se Kong River rose to a height of 12.4 meters, exceeding the warning level which is 11.5 meters high, but caused no harm to the Mekong river, according to Ministry of Water Resources.
