Phnom Penh (FN), July 27 - Hang Puthea, member and spokesman of the National Election Committee (NEC) confirmed on Friday in a press conference that no polling station affected by flood, but people may find it difficult to go to the polls.

The announcement was made after some media recently published that the the flood from the collapse of an under-construction Se-Pian Se Nam Noi dam in Attapeu provincei in south-east Laos damaged two polling stations in Stung Treng province.

Flood at the Cambodia-Laos Border began to decrease as the volume of Stung Treng's Se Kong River is decreased by 0.6 meter, according to Ministry of Water Resources' announcement.

The July's election will be held for only one day on 29 July 2018. All the 20 political parties join the electoral campaign that lasts for 21 days from 7-27 July 2018.
