Phnom Penh (FN), July 29 - International observer representing International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) said Sunday morning that the sixth mandate of National Assembly members electoral process was well-organized and smooth with 20 political parties racing, reflecting liberal multi-party democracy in Cambodia.

The statement came after the delegate has observed the opening of the polling station this very morning in Takhmao city where Prime Minister Hun Sen went to vote.

The delegate also witnessed the cheerful and exciting faces of people going to vote.

Other international observers seeing Prime Minister Hun Sen voting at Takhmao polling station include political parties in Asia, Centrist Democratic International, and delegations from China, Indonesia, and Muslim Association.

The National Election Committee recognized more than 90,000 international and national observers; over 500 international observers from over 70 institutions across the globe, including the European Union, the US, Asia, ASEAN, Australia and others, while there were only 243 international observers.
