Phnom Penh (FN), July 29 - Over 82.17% of registered voters turned out to vote in the 6th National Assembly members election in 2018 compared to 2013, which was only 69.6%, according to Dim Sovannarom, National Election Committe spokesman on Sunday.

The political parties raced in 2013 was only eight compared to 20 parties in the sixth mandate 2018.

The National Election Committee recognized more than 90,000 international and national observers; over 500 international observers from over 70 institutions across the globe, including the European Union, the US, Asia, ASEAN, Australia and others, while there were only 243 international observers.
