Phnom Penh (FN), July 29 - Cambodian People's Party (CPP) released a statement over the high voter turnout, 82.17%, in Cambodian general election 2018.

"CPP is pleased to learn the provisional announcement by the National Election Committee of more than 82.17% of the registered voters who casted their ballots today," CPP wrote in the statement Fresh News received Sunday.

The high voter turnout expresses enthusiasm and political rights of Cambodian people in strengthening a multiparty democracy, which is the foundation to the sustainable peace and development, the party underlined.
