Kandal (FN), August 23 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen urged government officials, generals, or police chiefs to behave well and serve people from heart in the missions at the provinces, addressing to 17,500 workers from 12 enterprises and factories in Kandal province.

His urge was made in response to a case that the three-star general asked his inferior to hold umbrella for him to protect from sun or rain during missions, which is not acceptable.

“I urge all of you not to use umbrella during your mission. It looks bad. If you do so, do not show it on TV,” said the premier.

Prime Minister also urged authorities at all level to timely solve problems for flood victims, particularly ministry of agriculture to distribute plantation seeds to farmers.

The premier reassured that the sixth mandate of the Royal Government will reform all policies to improve the lives of Cambodians.

"We all have to continue our efforts. The CPP's burden is even stronger, as people have already trusted the CPP; what remains is our efforts to develop the country,” stated the premier adding that “Rectangular Strategy – Phase IV has been formulated.”
