Phnom Penh (FN), Sept. 25 – Prime Minister Hun Sen of Cambodia will lead a high-level delegation to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on 26 September 2018, to pay tribute to the late President of Vietnam, Tran Dai Quang, who passed away on 21 September 2018, according to the ministry of foreign affairs’ press release dated on Tuesday.

Cambodian dignitaries accompanying Prime Minister will include Minister of Interior Sar Kheng; Minister of National Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspection Men Sam An, and a number of senior officials of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

“Earlier, on 21 September 2018, Prime Minister sent a letter of condolences to his Vietnamese counterpart, Nguyen Xuan Phuc, expressing great sadness on the passing of H.E. Tran Dai Quang, which is a huge loss of a leader who was devoted to promoting the wellbeing of the People of Vietnam and relations of fraternal friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia,” the ministry wrote.
